Students must develop a program of studies with an academic advisor and file the program during their first term of enrollment at Santa Clara. The program of studies must contain a minimum of 25 electrical engineering units and a minimum total of 45 units of graduate-level engineering courses. The number of engineering management courses accepted is restricted to 6 units. The program must include the following:
文中所說的engineering management courses  是指什麼??

8.Additional graduate courses in the student's emphasis area and in other areas recommended and approved by the graduate program advisor. Up to 15 units of electives may be selected from the following upper-division undergraduate courses: 112, 116, 117, 118, 127, 130, 133, 141, 143, 144, 145, 152, 153, and 154/ 155. Programs for several emphasis areas and the associated advisors are available from the department and its Web site. and listed in the department handbook.
我的問題是   因為我想選秋季班有開的課 387(VLSI Design),  但選這堂課必須先修 ELEN127,
所以我必須在這學期先修ELEN127,  也就是說上面那段話的第八點是列出各領域可能必須先修的課程嗎?
因為那些學分是大學課程, 若修的話有算在碩士畢業45學分裡嗎 ??
或是我該如何去證明我有修過ELEN127這堂課?   

Core Course Descriptions
All courses counting toward the complete of a graduate degree needs to be approved and recorded on the Student of Studies Form.  As early as possible, students should meet with their faculty advisors.
Students entering in the fall of 2008 are required to take a course in each of the following three areas of the Core (for a minimum of 6 units):
Emerging Topics in Engineering
Engineering and Business/Entrepreneurship
Engineering and Society
我的問題是 所以我再學校畢業45學分中, 除了符闔第一各問題段落的條件外, 還必須符闔第二各學校敘述裡所謂的Core Course嗎??

應該是指課程代碼開頭是EMGT的課程


理論上算，實際上可能要問advisor
如果你是本科系畢業，你的成績單就可以證明你有修過這堂課（當課名相同的時候）

1st question:
There should be no problem to take ELEN 387 without taking the prerequisite (ELEN 127), at least I did not.  It only costs you more money & time and will not be counted into the graduat ...
