請問超速罰單上法庭的問題?

如果上法庭,但是開單的警察沒來,是不是就可以dismiss?
如果自認為沒有超速(或是只超一點點),可不可以不承認自己超速?法官相信的機率大嗎?

Yeah, that's what a friend told me: if the officer who issued the citation does not appear in court with you, very likely your citation will be dismissed. I think you can admit that you went over the speed limit, but the key is to come up with a good reason WHY you went over the speed limit (ie, your foot got stuck on the gas peddle, your brake wasn't functioning, you lost control of your legs at the time, you were coming down a hill and wanted to know if your car could take off the ground, you saw a missile chasing you, you were trying to out-run a bullet...these are NOT good excueses :P)

Based on my understanding, if the officer who issued the citation does not appear in court, your citation will be dismissed.
if the officer appears or have a written statement brought to the court by other officers, you will lose the case
you can plea guilty in the court, the judge would still reduce your fine and maybe even off the citation of your DMV record if you are lucky

請問:開單警察若沒到法庭, 法官真的會直接dimiss罰單嗎? 難道不會先問當時為何超速之類的問題才決定?  還有難就難在要用什麼理由才能讓法官減少罰金:confused:  
我很不幸低2/15要出庭,(速限75,警察說我開93) 我還在想到底要不要去,因為地點粉遠. 埃~~

If 開單警察若沒到法庭, nor does other police officers representing him,you can plea non guilty,法官should dimiss罰單. if you plea guilty, 法官would still very likely減少your罰金, maybe you can say you feel someone following your car.....
are you obligated to出庭???
or you can choose just pay off the fine, it's the easiest way
