I need to input Chinese into the database with Linux OS. Anyone know what software I need to download?

maybe you can describe your system environment, so we can get more ideas about it? :rolleyes:
e.g. Which linux distribution or version? which database software? in xwindows mode or terminal mode...etc.

It's an web application using packages from OpenACS.
Webserver: AOLServer4
OS: Fedora 2.0
DB: PostgreSQL 7.4.5 database

I am not sure if Chinese will be input from terminal or Xwindows.
What different does it make?

Now I ain't no Linux expert, but my feeling is that Fedora isn't as well supported as previous commercial Red Hat distributions. I think you might have better luck finding multi-lang support for stuff for Red Hat than for Fedora. Just my 2 cents.
