I went to Traffic School last Saturday from 8:30 to 5 and here are some of the updates that I'd like to share with commuters so that you won't pay Uncle Sam anymore or spent a beautiful day for a boring lecture.

. g9 K- N2 ~' |* {) {" k& R1. Carpool lane - 1st time $1068.50 starting 1/1/06 (NOT $271, posts on the highway are old). Don't do it again because 2nd time is going to be double. 3rd time triple, and 4th time license suspended. 8 M( ~' ]" n! X7 r+ g2 k1 j. @9 Q
2. Incorrect lane change $380. Don't cross lane on solid lanes or intersection

/ G3 X" Z$ k7 w8 z4. Driving on the shoulder - $450 . J' p0 Q# D8 `+ k
5. Cell phone on the construction zone. - Double fine + o6 z V2 C! ]" y
6. Passengers over 18 not on the seatbelts - both passengers and drivers get ticket ! l/ x, P# e V: W" B8 u/ l
7. Speeders can only drive 3 miles above the limit. A classmate drive 71 MPH on 280 and got ticket. 1 ?2 l7 u! L$ ^* f
8. DUI = JAIL & c V2 }+ U7 \3 b6 E
; e, Z9 c7 B! Z5 l0 hJust for your curiosity, I got the ticket because of rolling stop at the Stop sign where cops were hiding behind a bridge.
