( I' q( h" n" P- E& B7 BI went to Traffic School last Saturday from 8:30 to 5 and here are some of the updates that I'd like to share with commuters so that you won't pay Uncle Sam anymore or spent a beautiful day for a boring lecture. 3 b) S0 n! R! z/ y# R; R" M

1. Carpool lane - 1st time $1068.50 starting 1/1/06 (NOT $271, posts on the highway are old). Don't do it again because 2nd time is going to be double. 3rd time triple, and 4th time license suspended.
% g& H, C8 D: I% r/ j0 c: a+ U2. Incorrect lane change $380. Don't cross lane on solid lanes or intersection

4. Driving on the shoulder - $450 3 `, g* [% L4 }, |% Y Y. I
5. Cell phone on the construction zone. - Double fine
6 }! a. }5 O3 S, }/ w. b6. Passengers over 18 not on the seatbelts - both passengers and drivers get ticket
9 M2 F% X2 R X7. Speeders can only drive 3 miles above the limit. A classmate drive 71 MPH on 280 and got ticket. J! q- h8 C/ q* T
8. DUI = JAIL

Just for your curiosity, I got the ticket because of rolling stop at the Stop sign where cops were hiding behind a bridge.
