美國學位釋義

美國學校提供的學位有很多種，依所學領域的不同，而有不同的學位。以下列出的是美國高等教育中較常見的學位:

Ph.D.（Doctor of Philosophy）: 博士學位。而有些領域的博士課程會有不同的學位名稱，如D.A.(Doctor of Arts)、Ed.D.(Doctor of Education　　　
" [5 k0 _7 J! b# Q* nM.B.A.（Master of Business Administration）: 商學管理碩士。
M.A.（Master of Arts）碩士；B.A.（Bachelor of Arts）學士: 兩者皆屬於人文、藝術或社會科學的領域，如文學、教育、藝術、音樂。
M.S.（Master of Science）碩士；B.S.（Bachelor of Science）學士: 兩者皆屬於理工、科學的領域，如數學、物理、信息等。
; T% V% Z9 n) \. k5 \Associate Degree（副學士學位）: 讀完兩年制小區大學或職業技術學校所得到的學位。
Dual Degree（雙學位）: 是由兩個不同學院分別授與，因此得到的是兩個學位。
Joint Degree：爲兩個不同學院聯合給予一個學位，如法律經濟碩士。
