Please Support Taiwan to Join the World Health Organisation !

Since the outbreak of SARS in Taiwan during year 2003, it has illustrated how fragile Taiwan was when it comes to the question of preventing the spread of contagious diseases.

Taiwan's people should not be excludes from efforts to defeat the SARS epidemic. Nor should the rest of the world be denied the significant contribution Taiwan can and wants to make to global health.

Taiwanese Student Association in the UK has already sent a letter to the UK Chief Medical Officer for his support and would like your support for the principle of health for all and for Taiwan's participation in the World Health Organization. Please express your views in the following website, which has been set up and updated ever since May, 2003. Thanks!
