We need all of you to walk in a short parade, from Building One to the Marketplace, on Tuesday, November 14th at 11:30. Please see attached. The purpose is to celebrate and honor your cultures and to show the number of international students at Cal Poly Pomona for International Education Week. The President or Provost will be there to say a few words honoring you. We need all of you to be present!!
You can wear a traditional costume from your country if you have one; if not, your regular clothes are fine.
There will be several meeting times for you to come in and sign up with us. You MUST attend one of these short meetings at the International Center. When you join the parade you will be entered into a raffle for prizes including a 27 inch color TV!! We will give you a certificate of appreciation that you can use on your resume.
