大家好，想請問非正式學生在SJSU上課的問題

大家好，我是目前正在申請SJSU的future student

申請的是2008 fall，因此目前還在等申請的結果

不過由於有親戚住Sunnyvale，所以提早了半年來

ㄧ方面適應環境，一方面也是想去SJSU修一些課



我大學是主修computer science，研究所也是申請這個領域

這幾天在SJSU的open university網頁看到了一些課程的相關資訊

一個學分要兩百多美金，真的比台灣高出很多

所以想知道  SJSU的CS老師們是否會接受學生旁聽呢?

自己在家平常也是打算把當兵之後忘掉的都找回來

因此上課當warm up的成分居多，一門課要六百多美金實在是個不小的負擔



最後順便一問有沒有人3/12想去HP Pavilion看Matchbox 20+Alanis Morresite+Mutemath

陣容堅強很划算阿！目前在ebay和其他合法的黃牛票網站有看到不錯的floor位置大概100出頭

但是都是以pair為單位在賣> <  哭

當初來美國唸書其中一個動機就是看演唱會阿  哈!

I am a CS major.

In my past experience, it really depends on Professors.
Some of the classes are HUGE, it's almost impossible to tell who is in the class and who is not.

Most of CS classes are in the size of 40 to 50. For the most beginning few weeks, there will be no seat for some students, because students are trying to add (hence 旁聽 is impossible/hard).

What class are you trying to 旁聽?  why not list them here?

You will need to talk to the professor. But if you ask me, I won't suggest to do this. Teacher job here earn very little money, very little, it is not nice to just sit in to the class and just listen there but not paying. It is not fair to the teacher. Unless you talk to the professor, and he or she does not care. I've never just sit in to some classes without register the classes for my college and master. It is expensive, so make sure you really are going to take the classes.
