租屋問題~~~

我最近再網路上有看到一間房間
也有跟屋主講過要租房子
但是因為還沒過去san jose
所以他希望我可以先匯deposit給他
然後他在幫我保留房間給我
但是我完全不認識他
如果到時候被騙了怎麼辦????
還是有什麼辦法可以跟他說先幫我保留房間
然後我人到了再付他deposit和租金

It's all up to the lendlord. If he/she insisted in security despoit, then there is no alternative. I will suggest that you not wire the deposit first instead you can sign the rental agreement with the lend lord first. The lend lord can add a clause to impose a fine if you end up not lending the place. Worst to worst, you can find somewhere to stay temperatory and find a place. I think there are many nice people on this forum whom will be help you if you really are in such a predicament.
