LC/MS/MS GC/MS chemist

Position description:
Candidate will be assisting and consulting with our senior analytical instrumentation chemist. This position involves development and application of sophisticated methods utilizing LC/MS/MS, GC/MS, HPLC, GC, and ICP. Hands-on experience using the above instruments is a must. Candidate will assist in reviewing protocols, technical reports and standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Candidates must possess strong organization, communication, and time management skills. Effective problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills are also a must. Candidate has to be authorized to work in the U.S. This is a fulltime position with benefits.


Position Requirements:
· Minimum BS in chemistry/analytical chemistry or closely related field
· At least 3 years chromatography experience
· Experience in a food-testing environment
· Hands-on experience with LC/MS/MS, GC/MS, HPLC, GC, ICP
· Work independently and interact well with other team members
· Familiarity with wet chemistry & other basic laboratory instrumentation
