Santa Clara Univ campus is pretty safe, I don't know about other school,
if you worry, you should buy an old bike like mine $40, even a new bike costs only $60
and never leave your bike over night, or near construction places like the library ruins.
for two years, my bike is still here,
there is a bike shop on El Camino Real with San Tomas Expressway, 20mins ride from school
or the gas station on El Camino Real with Scott, for pumping air.
