You can e-mail them saying that you have already been accepted for admission for the Winter Quarter of 2007, but have not yet been issued the I-20 due to late notification. Therefore, you would like to defer your admission to the Spring Quarter 2007 (the spring quarter starts in mid-March).

The other thing to do, as I said before, is to e-mail the International Students Office and ask about the status of your I-20. Give your name and, if possible, your student ID (provided in the acceptance letter) to allow for faster processing.

I will be back in U.S. on Jan 4, and will be able to help you further then.
