[問題] 關於在sjsu修課

想請教一些問題,
因為工作上的需要, 感覺自己在電機本科的專業能力還是不足,
所以想到學校裡頭part-time進修一些design和circuit的課,
由於(1)我沒車, (2)希望到學校上課, 所以最好是下班時間的課,
sjsu是我目前最好的選擇,
                                                                                
所以我想請教一下板上有沒有人是唸sjsu的, 以下是我的幾個問題,
(1) 由於我十月才到加州, 所以這學期沒有註冊,
不知道可不可以旁聽到這學期結束, 我想旁聽EE270 Advanced Logic Design,
下學期再正式選修EE270 or EE271 Digital System Design and Synthesis,
                                                                                
(2) 如果只是要拿課, 不要degree, 要怎麼申請呢?

You need to get the permission from the professor to seat in. Ask the professor nicely. If you are lucky, he/she might let you seat in.
Otherwise, the only option for you is to enroll as "open university" student. The tuition is very expensive if you register class as open university.
Are you california resident. If so, I would recommand you to enroll as part time student since the tuition will be a lot cheaper. If not, you can either register as out-of-state student or be an open university student. The tuition for both is about the same, I think.

As for Q(2), You can either register as open-university and/or take the class as credit/non-credit.

(2) 如果只是要拿課, 不要degree, 要怎麼申請呢?
要拿課, 不要degree...是不付錢的意思就對了嘛?
旁聽.....進教室作下來就是旁聽 but need to get the permission from professor.(if the professor really care about studnets, he/she will know every studnet in the class; or you can sneak in the classroom and sit on the corner pretend the instructor will not see you.)

拿課註冊就要繳錢囉.....doesn't matter if you want degree or not; otherwise, if it is free for everyone who takes classes without degree, than SJSU will close soon since there will be no fund. There will be a lot of peope just set in the class.
