Job title: Software Engineer for QA or Development
Job Description:
Working with software products and next generation products to design, develop, execute various features and protocols test plans, also automate test cases and develop clients and endpoints for WS security and interoperability related testing.

Areas of expertise should include very strong:
- Knowledge of software architectures and concepts (clustering, high availability, transactional behavior, and n-tier architectures)
- Knowledge of Java, C, C++ to be able to understand, maintain, enhance and configure middleware routing components.
- Knowledge of SOAP (1.1/1.2), different industry XML standards specifically financial standards FIX, FixML, FinML.
- Knowledge of HTTP (1.0/1.1), SSL v2/v3, TLS1.0, SMTP, FTP.
- Knowledge of the LINUX operating system.
- Knowledge of the JMS systems especially Tibco Businessworks & Websphere MQ & openJMS.
- Knowledge of data transformation capabilities of the middleware solution, specifically using XSLT.
- Knowledge of data validation capabilities of the middleware solution, specifically using DTDs and schemas.
- Excellent trouble-shooting & technical problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Middleware Test Methodologies.
- Knowledge of web service security especially Signing, Verification, Encryption, Decryption, Authorization, Authentication algorithms and implementations in middleware.
- Knowledge of LDAP-based Directory Services.
- Knowledge of J2EE & .NET architectures.
- Excellent team player.

Good to have (not mandatory):
- Knowledge of networking routers and switches.
- Knowledge of scripting using Perl, tcl/tk and expect.
- Standards body participation e.g. WSS, WSI, OASIS, IETF.
- Knowledge of Databases Oracle and Sybase.
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture.
