It’s 80F outside but you are still wearing a jean jacket.

You don’t think the woman wearing lime green pants, an orange shirt,
and a black and white stripped jacket looks weird.

You can smell the difference between stinky tofu and a durian in just
one whiff.

You only drink warm water.

You think it’s normal to shower at night, not in the morning.

You think you are being ripped off if you pay more than $4 for a meal.

You try to bargain at a grocery store during your trip back to the US or your respective country.

You think it’s weird to watch TV or a movie without Chinese subtitles.

It’s normal for you to get your meals at 7-11.

You buy a new cell phone every three months.

You think anything from Japan is cool.

You use an umbrella, rain or shine.

You are able to move all of your worldly possessions on a scooter.

You get upset that a taxi driver is obeying all the rules of the road.

You crave dou-gan, not pizza, when you get the munchies.

You take the MRT home and you know exactly where on the platform the doors will open that will leave you right in front of the escalator, cutting down on your transfer time.

You actually know the name of every fruit at the market.

You are back in the US/home country, crossing an intersection, and you wish there were those running man signs telling you how much time you have left to cross the street.

You don’t turn on your AC in your apartment until mid-June.

You are back in the US/home country and don’t understand why all the drivers aren’t trying to run you over as you cross the street.

It’s 50F outside and you are wearing a down jacket, wool hat and
gloves, but you are still cold.

You think it’s normal to have corn on your pizza.

You order pizza during a return trip and request that they add corn.
